Compliance
DPDP Act 2023 — built-in.
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act governs how employee data must be handled. TalentPulse is aligned with it out of the box.
How we help you stay compliant
- • Lawful basis: consent flows captured at onboarding and stored in the audit log
- • Purpose limitation: employee data is used only for engagement, performance and retention
- • Data minimisation: we collect what’s needed — no CCTV, no location tracking, no personal messages
- • Accuracy: employees can view and correct their own profile any time
- • Storage limitation: configurable retention; automatic purge of inactive data
- • Data principal rights: access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal — all supported via a single page
- • Breach notification: 72-hour incident response commitment
Data residency
All employee data is stored in Indian data centres (Mumbai/Chennai). No cross-border transfer without explicit contractual consent.
