How accurate is DocuMind's OCR on Indian-language and handwritten documents?
DocuMind achieves 99.9% accuracy on printed text across 100+ languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi. On clean handwriting, accuracy is 94-98%. On scanned cursive forms, 88-94%. We run a second AI pass for low-confidence regions, which is why our accuracy beats Google Vision and AWS Textract on Indian documents.
Is my data safe? Where are documents stored?
Yes. DocuMind is SOC 2 Type II aligned, ISO 27001 ready, and built with bank-grade AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Documents are stored in India-region data centres by default, with optional EU and US residency for enterprise plans. We never train AI models on customer data — your documents stay private to your organisation.
Do you offer a free trial? Is a credit card required?
Yes — 14 days free on any paid plan, no credit card required. The FREE plan gives you 50 documents per month forever. You can upload real documents, test every feature, and only upgrade when you are ready.
How does billing work? Can I cancel any time?
We bill monthly or annually via Razorpay (India) or Stripe (global). Annual plans get 20% off. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your billing dashboard at any time — no contracts, no cancellation fees. Unused credits roll over for 90 days.
Which file formats are supported?
PDF (including scanned and password-protected), Word (DOC, DOCX), Excel (XLS, XLSX), PowerPoint (PPT, PPTX), images (JPG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC), text files, RTF, and email formats (EML, MSG). Maximum file size is 50 MB on Starter, 250 MB on Team, and 2 GB on Business/Enterprise plans.
Can DocuMind integrate with our existing systems?
Yes. We offer a REST API, webhooks, and native integrations with Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Dropbox, Slack, Salesforce, Zoho, Tally, and SAP. Enterprise plans include custom integrations and SSO (SAML / OIDC / Azure AD / Okta).
What happens if I exceed my monthly document quota?
Nothing breaks. You can buy top-up credit packs starting at ₹499 for 500 extra documents, or we can auto-upgrade you to the next plan mid-cycle (you only pay the prorated difference). We will warn you at 80% and 95% usage so there are no surprises.
Do you offer on-premise or private-cloud deployment?
