Overview
AR Corporate Training Studio is a workforce-training platform for companies that run operations on real, physical equipment — manufacturing lines, maintenance bays, warehouses, labs and utilities. Instead of static PDFs and classroom slides, HR uploads the company's own Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and the platform turns it into an interactive, step-by-step AR training module that an employee follows on the actual machine, with an AI trainer on hand to answer questions. Every trainee is then assessed for competency, and those who pass receive a verifiable certificate. A compliance dashboard shows, at a glance, who is trained, who is due, and where the gaps are.
Who it is for
- Manufacturing & plants — safety procedures, machine changeovers, lockout-tagout, line operation.
- Maintenance & field service — equipment servicing, inspection routines, calibration.
- Warehousing & logistics — material handling, forklift and dock procedures.
- Labs, utilities & facilities — instrument handling, standard protocols, onboarding.
The tenant is a company; HR staff and trainers manage the programme, and employees are the trainees.
How it works, end to end
Pages & modules
| Page | What it does |
|---|---|
| ACT_HRDashboard | Post-login home. Company header (name & tier), headline stat cards (employees, modules, published modules, sessions, certificates, compliance %) and quick actions to build a module, manage employees or open compliance. |
| ACT_ModuleBuilder | The workhorse. Create or edit a module (title, description, equipment context, pass mark), provide the SOP by PDF upload or paste, then generate training steps with AI. Steps are saved as an editable ordered list; publish a module to make it available to employees. |
| ACT_EmployeePortal | HR manages employees (name, code, department, email, phone), assigns modules with due dates, and sees each employee's training status and certificates. |
| ACT_ARTraining | The AR hero. Loads a published module and its steps, starts a training session, and guides the employee step by step in a Three.js / WebXR scene with the current step's instruction, safety note and checkpoint. A Claude AI trainer chat answers questions. Ends with "Complete & take assessment". |
| ACT_Assessment | Generates an AI assessment over the module, renders an interactive quiz, scores competency, and — on a pass — issues the certificate. |
| ACT_Certificate | Lists issued certificates with employee, module, cert number, competency, issue/expiry dates, a QR to the public verification page, a PDF download and a revoke action. |
| ACT_CertVerify public | No login. Resolves a certificate by its verify token and shows a VALID / REVOKED / EXPIRED / NOT FOUND banner with the holder, module, company, competency, dates, cert number and digital-signature hash. This is what the QR resolves to. |
| ACT_ComplianceReport | An employee × module compliance matrix (assigned / in-progress / certified / expired), overall compliance %, per-module completion, and a module filter. |
| ACT_Analytics | Chart.js dashboards from a single analytics procedure: headline counts, a doughnut of certificates by module, a line of monthly training sessions, and a module-performance table. |
| ACT_Subscription | Shows the current plan, validity and days remaining, the one-time setup fee and the per-employee-per-year price, and a Razorpay checkout that activates the company plan for one year. |
Roles & access
- HR / Training Manager (Admin) — full access: build modules, manage employees, issue certificates, manage billing and team, view the audit log.
- Trainer (Manager) — build and run training, assess employees, manage the roster.
- Employees — the trainees; they are managed by HR and are not platform login users.
- Super admin — a central monitor account (scope ACT) for cross-company oversight.
Authentication and roles are handled by the shared RBAC kit; every authenticated query is scoped to the signed-in company.
Certificates & verification
A certificate is issued only when an employee meets the module's pass mark. Each certificate carries a unique certificate
number (for example ACT-2026-000123) and a verify token. The generated PDF includes the holder's name, the
module, the company, the competency level and score, the issue and expiry dates, a signature line and a QR code.
These certificates confirm completion of the company's own training on the platform. They are not a formal external accreditation, and the AI trainer and competency score are aids to support the programme rather than a substitute for a qualified assessor where regulation requires one.

Database schema overview
All tables use the ACT_ prefix, soft-delete (IsDeleted) and audit columns, and are scoped by CompanyID.
| Table | Holds |
|---|---|
ACT_Companies | The tenant company (CompanyID maps to the shared kit's OrgId), subscription tier and expiry. |
ACT_Employees | Employees managed by HR, with a per-employee access token for the lightweight portal. |
ACT_TrainingModules | SOP-derived modules: title, description, equipment context, SOP text, model path, pass mark, status. |
ACT_ModuleSteps | Ordered AI-generated steps: title, instruction, safety note, checkpoint. |
ACT_TrainingSessions | An employee's run through a module, with steps completed and completion state. |
ACT_StepAssessments | Competency assessment results: score, level, pass flag and result JSON. |
ACT_Certificates | Issued certificates with a unique cert number, verify token, competency and expiry. |
ACT_DigitalSignatures | The SHA-256 integrity hash that backs each certificate. |
ACT_ComplianceRecords | Per employee-and-module compliance state. |
ACT_Subscriptions | Razorpay order / payment records and plan validity. |
AI integration
- ConvertSopToSteps — turns SOP text plus an equipment context into an ordered set of training steps.
- TrainerReply — the in-training AI trainer that answers a trainee's questions with a reply, a tip and encouragement.
- GenerateAssessmentQuestions — builds an assessment over a module's steps at a chosen difficulty.
- ScoreAssessment — scores the trainee's answers and returns a competency level, feedback and weak areas.
AI calls are logged, cached where possible, and parsed defensively; failures degrade gracefully so the page still works.
Pricing
Payments are processed by Razorpay; each payment keeps the company plan live for one year from the payment date.
Security & data
- Every authenticated query is scoped to the signed-in company, so no company can see another's data.
- Key actions are written to an audit log and an activity log for accountability.
- Session-gated upload and certificate handlers; the payment webhook is verified by HMAC signature.
- Soft-delete throughout, so records can be recovered and history is preserved.
