Questions, answered

Do I need special AR hardware?

No. AR Immersion works with any ordinary phone, tablet or laptop camera. It uses real-time 2D object detection with a label overlay — not WebXR immersive tracking or marker-based AR — so there's nothing extra to install or buy.

Is my camera feed uploaded anywhere?

Object detection itself runs on-device in your browser. Only when you tap a detected object to learn its translation does the app make a request to fetch the word's details.

Which languages are supported?

Choose your target language from the app — Spanish, French, German, Japanese and more — and switch any time from your dashboard.

How accurate is the CEFR level assessment?

It's an AI-generated estimate based on your recent vocabulary and conversation activity, meant to guide your practice — not a certified or official CEFR exam result.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your vocabulary bank, conversations and progress history are visible only to your account.
