Scan & identify · AR spec panel · Cost to own · Fair-deal coaching

Know the car before the dealer tells you.

Point your phone at any car or bike. The app makes a best guess at the make and model, overlays an AR spec panel on the live frame, works out what the vehicle really costs to own beyond its sticker price, and helps you walk into the showroom as an informed buyer. Try a scan free, no sign-in needed.

What this is

Walk in knowing what you're looking at

Buying a vehicle is one of the biggest cheques most of us write, and the showroom is the one place where the other side knows far more than we do. AR Car & Bike Advisor exists to close that gap. Point your camera at any car or bike and it makes a best guess at the make, model and variant — always with a confidence score you can correct — then overlays approximate specs, estimates the real cost of ownership beyond the sticker price with its assumptions on show, compares your shortlist against your priorities, and prepares the questions worth asking. Every figure is an AI estimate for research only — confirm specs, prices and figures with the dealer or manufacturer before you decide or pay.

How it works

From a photo to a decision you understand

Point and capture

Frame any car or bike with your camera, or upload a photo. No sign-in needed to try it.

It makes a best guess

Vision AI suggests the make, model and likely variant, and always shows how confident it is. If it's wrong, correct it before you go on.

The AR spec panel opens

A glass panel sits over the frame with approximate specs — engine, power, mileage, seating, fuel — and an indicative price range.

See the real cost

Fuel, servicing, insurance, tyres and depreciation over the years you'd keep it — with the assumptions shown first, and a per-km figure.

Compare on your priorities

Score two or three vehicles against what matters to you. Every vehicle gets strengths and trade-offs — including the recommended one.

Go in informed

A fair-price range, the questions worth asking and the charges to watch for — so you can hold a straight, honest conversation.

The four pillars

Everything you need before you sign

Scan & identify

Point your camera at any car or bike and get a best guess at the make, model and variant — with a confidence score, and a one-tap correction when the guess is off.

AR spec panel

Approximate specs overlay the vehicle in front of you — engine, power, mileage, seating, fuel types and an indicative price range — right where you're standing.

True cost of ownership

The sticker price is the start, not the cost. Fuel, servicing, insurance, tyres and depreciation over the years you'd keep it — assumptions shown first, then a total and a per-km figure.

Fair-deal coaching

A fair-price range, the questions worth asking, the charges to watch for and a polite opening script. It coaches you to be informed and fair — never to deceive anyone.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Are these prices and figures a quotation?

No. Every figure here — specs, mileage, price ranges, cost of ownership — is an AI estimate for research only, and it can be wrong. Nothing on this app is a quotation, a valuation or an offer. Confirm specs, prices and figures with the dealer or manufacturer before you decide or pay.

How accurate is the identification?

It is a best guess from a single photo, and it shows you exactly how confident it is. Variants of the same model can look nearly identical, so the variant guess in particular is often approximate. You can correct the make and model before running any cost or comparison — and you should, whenever the confidence is low.

Why show assumptions with the cost of ownership?

Because a single hard number would be misleading. What a vehicle costs you depends on how far you drive, where you live, fuel prices and how long you keep it. The assumptions are shown first so you can check they match your life — if they don't, change the inputs and the total changes with them.

Does the negotiation coaching teach tricks?

No, and it never will. It helps you understand a fair price range, ask the right questions and spot charges worth querying. It will not coach you to lie, invent competing quotes or act in bad faith. The goal is a straight conversation between two informed parties — being informed is the only leverage you need.

Do comparisons pick a winner?

They make a recommendation based on the priorities you choose, but they never run a vehicle down. Every vehicle gets its strengths and its trade-offs, including the one that's recommended, and each comparison says plainly who should pick the other one instead. Different buyers genuinely want different things.

Do I need to sign in to try it?

No. You can scan a vehicle, see its spec panel, run the cost of ownership and compare your shortlist without an account, up to the free scan limit. Create a free account to keep your garage of scans and search it, and unlock unlimited scanning with premium.

Where does the camera image go?

A single captured frame is sent to identify the vehicle. You control when the camera is on, and you can upload a photo or enter the make and model by hand instead if you'd rather not use the camera at all.
